Back to Tours List

The Southern Caribbean beaches are some of the less explored and the most remote beaches in Costa Rica. Here you will find a beautiful mix of Rasta culture, lush rain forest, wildlife and deserted beaches. This is the place where the jungle reaches the sea.

Day 1. From San José to the Southern Caribbean.
In the morning a transfer will bring you to Puerto Viejo Talamanca. You will find your lodge just steps from the beach. Use the day as you wish to explore the beaches and enjoy the nature. The small village of Puerto Viejo offers many nice restaurants and bars to mix with the locals.

Day 2. Explore the coast on bicycle.
As the road from Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo is a dead end street there is less traffic and therefor very suitable for exploring the area on bicycle.
